SUMMER EVENTS AT THE VILLAGE INCLUDING DANCE LESSONS, LIVE MUSIC, CORBIN MAXEY, KIDS SUMMER ADVENTURES AND MORE!
Meridian, ID – May 1, 2025 – Get ready for a summer packed full of fun free events at The Village! Learn how to line dance or Polynesian dance, enjoy live music, new Corbin Maxey shows, kids summer adventures and so much more!
Each Friday and Saturday live bands will be entertaining guests starting June 6th through September 6th as Big Al’s Live On The Patio returns. The line up of talented bands you can get up and dance to include Sweet Briar Band, Casio Dreams, Steady Rush and so many more! Performances start each evening at 7pm ending at 10pm, with bar and food services all available right on the patio.
Get your boots on before the music starts Friday’s this summer and join Dirt Road Dancing for a line dancing lesson! From beginners to enthusiasts, this team with over ten years of experience will teach you the steps you need to get out on the dance floor, while making memories each week. Be sure to pop into one of the shops like Madewell, Buckle, H&M and Anthropologie to find your new style and boots to scoot in before the complimentary lesson starts each Friday at 6pm from June 6th to September 5th.
Explore the traditions of Hawai’i and Tahiti in our Polynesian dance class Saturdays on the green in Fountain Square starting at 9am from June 7th to August 30th. Lead by Lia Tupou, a dancer for world renowned group Nonosina, you’re invited to kick off your workout for the summer with this special complimentary class.

Bring the kids to the Summer Adventures series Tuesdays starting June 3rd through July 29th from 10:30am to 12:00pm on the green in Fountain Square for free summer fun! From a Teddy Bear Clinic to a Wizard’s Academy and the Pirate Treasure Hunt, each week offers activities, crafts and fun full of learning.
Join animal expert Corbin Maxey in Fountain Square for an amazing and educational stage show starting June 4th each Wednesday through June 25th at 6pm. Arrive early to get your seats and be a part of this interactive event featuring familiar and new animals from around the world. Watch for the full details to be released soon, and note that each show has a meet and greet for photo-ops too!
Before the summer fun gets started, celebrate Cinco de Mayo May 2nd for a night of culture and celebration with performances by Mariachi Sol de Acapulco and Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo. Start the day May 3rdwith Lululemon Yoga on the Green, pop by Juniper Market to shop small and enjoy a LIVE performance by Tejano Outlaw on Big Al’s Patio starting at 6pm.
May the Fourth Be With You fun starts Sunday, May 4th with Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, LEGO Star Wars build, and guests encouraged to wear costumes.
Celebrate Mom at The Village May 10th and 11th with a photo by the special backdrop in Fountain Square, pick up a custom bouquet from Bloom Bar or pop in Boise Co-op for a card too.
